2025 Goals
A letter from our Founder & President
Imagine transforming Kansas City's clay soil
waste into beautiful, resilient homes.
Civic Saint is driven by the mission of making homeownership accessible to more families in our community and beyond. By utilizing sustainable and natural alternatives alongside a regionalized delivery method to reduce home construction and ownership costs, we aim to inspire artful, family-friendly neighborhoods. In the coming months, we will expand—establishing employee support systems, production facilities, housing partnerships, and welcome our first buyers. I am honored to have been selected for the prestigious Echoing Green Global Fellowship, which empowers our mission even further. Our journey has been remarkable, and with your support, we will build a just and equitable future where neighbors thrive and live to their full potential. Join our beautiful start to transform lives and build a better Kansas City.
In pursuit of justice and equity for all,
Godfrey Riddle, MPA
Building Healthy Homes For All
Affordable housing remains one of the greatest determinants of personal, familial, and community health because it directly affects one’s means to care for self and family. But for too long, the legacy of redlining and inequitable land use policy have limited access to homeownership or destroyed housing stock in high-promise neighborhoods.
Our Process
Civic Saint works with community leaders, residents, and nonprofit partners representing neighborhood interests to host our neighborhood factories. Our business model prioritizes once redlined areas and the environment while eliminating the racial wealth gap through job creation, homeownership, and their ambient economic impacts.
Our Products
Our homes are built with compressed earthen blocks (CEBS), which are twice as strong as a comparable
100% cement block.
CEBs are bulletproof, fire resistant, non-toxic, cost
-efficient to construct and maintain, and long lasting.
Civic Saint’s design embraces these benefits to protect homeowners.
